What to look for

Signs of storm damage you can spot from the ground

Dark bruises

Round spots where granules were knocked off — they look darker than the shingle around them.

Missing shingles

Lighter patches of exposed underlayment, or shingles lying in the yard after high winds.

Dented gutters & vents

Soft metal dents easily. If gutters or downspouts are dinged, the roof likely took hits too.

Ceiling stains

Brown rings or bubbling paint after a storm often mean water is getting past the roof.

    You contact your insurer and open a claim. We can't do this for you.

  3. Adjuster visit

    Your insurer sends an adjuster. We can be on site to point out what we found.

  4. Decide
